Today I started 72 seeds: 36 marigold (Dwarf Bolero); 18 Snapdragon(First Ladies, mixed colors); 18 Black Eyed Susan. All were Ferry-Morse from Lowes. I put 2 each of the Susans and snapdragons; the marigold seeds are large, and there weren't as many in the packet, so I took my chances with 1 each.
These will go in the large flower bed by the road. Last year the spot was full of clay and weeds. Hopefully the marigolds will take off.
